You'll receive detailed profile/s and direct contact details for your personally selected babysitter/s or nanny candidates. From there, you connect directly to chat, arrange a meet-and-greet or interview, and decide what feels right for your family.

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT WITH OUR BABYSITTERS?
There are a few different ways to find a babysitter.
With some babysitting agencies, you request a sitter for a particular date and pay an agency booking fee for that booking, in addition to the babysitter's hourly rate. If you need babysitting again another time, another booking and agency fee may apply.
Other services operate through an app or online platform, where families browse profiles, post jobs or make bookings through the platform.
The Trusted Sitter Co. works differently.
You pay us to find and personally match you with your sitter, not to manage every babysitting booking you make afterwards.
I personally interview and screen our sitters, check their references, verify their Working with Children Check and current First Aid & CPR, and then select the sitter/s I believe best suit your family.
Once matched, you receive their profile and direct contact details.
From then on, you contact your sitter directly whenever you need them and pay their agreed hourly rate directly to them.
There is no membership.
No subscription.
No ongoing booking fee paid to us every time you use your sitter.
And no app full of profiles for you to sort through yourself.
You pay once for your chosen matching service, and the sitter connection is yours to build.

I'm a mum, part of a blended family, and an early childhood professional with over 24 years of experience working with children and families.

I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and throughout my career I've worked closely with hundreds of children, families and early childhood professionals.

I created The Trusted Sitter Co. because I understand how important it is to feel confident about who you trust with your children. I wanted to give Northern Beaches families a more thoughtful, personal way to find experienced, carefully screened babysitters and nannies.

How does the matching process work?
Complete our Family Enquiry Form so we can get to know your family and what you're looking for. For babysitting, we personally select screened sitters suited to your family's needs, preferences and availability. For nanny placement, we conduct a personalised search and recruitment process specifically for your family's role.
How are your babysitters and nannies screened?
Every babysitter or nanny completes our screening process, including verification of their current NSW Working With Children Check and First Aid and CPR qualifications, a minimum of two reference checks and a personal interview.
What happens once I receive my matches?
For babysitting, you'll receive your personally matched sitter profile/s, including their experience, qualifications, availability and contact details. From there, you contact, book and pay your sitter whenever you need care.

For nanny placement, you'll receive two carefully selected nanny profiles and their contact details. You can then arrange interviews or trial shifts directly with candidates and, if you choose to engage a nanny, agree on hours, duties and pay directly with them.
How long does the entire process take?
As every match is personally selected for your family, timeframes can vary depending on your needs and sitter availability. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process and only introduce you to someone we genuinely feel is a suitable match.
Nanny placements generally take longer, as we take the time to source, screen and interview suitable candidates for your family and the ongoing role

No. The Trusted Sitter Co. provides a personalised screening, referral and matching service. Once matched, families contact, book and pay their babysitters/nannies directly.
